I read from somewhere that the reason why Jodie Foster wasnt continuing on as Clarice was due to some script issues.. she made them change the script once in the draft even before shooting began.. after that.. she just quit.. and that was it.. i guess no one knows what really went on then.. but yeah.. julianne did alright i guess.. she did not have to be young and energetic.. put urself in her shoes..

Imagine.. at the start of Hannibal.. she got into alot of mess after killing a drug lord infront of the media.. with a baby.. how positive is that? and also.. she got a medal for being the FBI agent who shot the most people.. its been years after silence.. and obviously.. she is also quite tired and worn out.. how can she remain energetic?

And even more.. to help siling on the feminism bit.. lets see.. i would talk bout the intial lift scene.. the one with a lift of huge smart FBI male agents and a puny little woman in the list.. and ironically.. she came out to be hero.. or heroine.. in the show... chew on that..

Other than that.. she's like a symbol.. Buffalow bill hunts women.. and what does it take to get him? another woman.. duh? and yeah.. its like.. fighting for rights and stuff too.. equality.. away from the sexist society...

Other than that.. theres one more important part.. about clarice again.. but not so much on the fact that she's a woman.. its her courage.. theres like the raspail car scene.. with the head in the jar.. freaked her out.. scared her to tears.. but still she managed to make it back to Baltimore mental institute to speak with lecter.. and showned also before that.. when lecter tried to upset her with his talk bout her cheap shoes cheap eyes and her country origin... it was realli harsh.. but she didnt break down.. nor did she end up with lecter on a plate with fava beans and a nice Chiianti on the side.. hahaha.. kk.. thats all .. for now..
